KINDERHOOK – State Police investigated a fatal two car motor vehicle collision on State Route 9 near Birch Drive in the town of Kinderhook. It happened just before 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.
Preliminary investigation suggests a southbound vehicle operated by Alicia Fernandez, entered the opposing lane and struck a northbound vehicle.
Fernandez, 41, of Hudson, was airlifted to Albany Medical Center where she died.
