Inmate stabbed at Greenhaven

BEEKMAN – One inmate stabbed another Sunday afternoon at the maximum security Greenhaven Correctional Facility in Beekman.  
A State corrections department spokesman said the injured inmate “was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries following an incident with another inmate.”
He said the agency is investigating and cannot comment any further at this time.
