GOSHEN – A Walden man was arrested on Thursday and charged with predatory sexual assault against a child as a felony.
The State Police Troop F Orange County Child Abuse Unit arrested Alton Royal, 53, for allegedly engaging in a course of sexual conduct against a child under the age of 13. He was sent to the Orange County Jail without bail.
The Orange County Child Abuse Unit is comprised of the State Police, Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Port Jervis City Police, Goshen Police, Orange County Child Protective Services and State Police investigators from New York City.
