CHESTER – The New York State Fraternal Order of Police Tuesday
announced their endorsement for all of the Republicans seeking county-wide
office in Orange County in next month’s general election.

The group endorsed County Executive Steven Neuhaus, District Attorney
David Hoovler and County clerk Annie Rabbitt for re-election.
For Rabbitt being backed by police touches very close to home.

“As a widow to a police chief, this year alone seeing what the thin
blue line truly means – family. My daughter, who proudly wears the
New York City uniform as a sergeant; my son, who I couldn’t be prouder
of, works here local for one of the local departments this county has
ever seen, and that is our sheriff’s department,” she said.
The Fraternal Order of Police also endorsed William DeProspo for county
court judge.

“We’ve got your backs,” Neuhaus told the police officers,
who attended an endorsement announcement at GOP campaign headquarters
in Chester.
