WHITE PLAINS – A 47-year-old
Scarsdale man has been charged with child pornography crimes.

Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. said Lorcan
Geraghty was charged with felonies of promoting an obscene sexual performance
by a child and possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.

Between September 17 and 19, an investigator with the Westchester DA’s
Office determined Geraghty promoted an image containing an obscene performance
including sexual conduct by a child under the age of 17.

On September 28, investigators executed a search warrant at his residence
and recovered computer devices that included additional files depicting
children engaged in obscene sexual performances.

Bail was set at $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bail.

If convicted, Geraghty faces seven years in state prison.
