MTA cop pleads guilty to assault

WHITE PLAINS – A Metropolitan
Transportation Authority police officer was sentenced in White Plains
City Court on Thursday to a one year conditional discharge and 50 hours
of community service after pleading guilty to misdemeanor assault.

On October 30, 2016, Allan Fong, who was on duty at the time at the White
Plains train station, hit a victim in the back of the head with an asp
baton. The victim suffered pain to the back of his head and a laceration
that required two staples.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Berit Huseby of
the Investigations Division of the Westchester DA’s Office.
