Police on the scene in May

MIDDLETOWN – After four months of testing, authorities identified the remains of a man found in a wooded area behind 225 Dolsen Avenue in the City of Middletown.  The body was found in an abandoned camper at that location.
Stephen Skok, 73, was identified as a Middletown resident with a former address on Liberty Street.  Skok’s family has been advised of the findings.
Middletown Police Lt. Jeffry Thoelen said the exact cause of death remains undetermined, but appears to have been an underlying natural cause.
