KERHONKSON – A Kerhonkson man has been arrested and charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon after he allegedly wielded a machete and made threats toward several people.
The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office also charged Nicholas Rodriguez, 23, with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
State Police assisted deputies at the scene.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 16.
