Sgt. Lennon laid to rest

GOSHEN – People of all
ages lined the roads leading to St. Boniface Catholic Church in Rockland
County where the funeral service for Marine Corps Sgt. Owen Lennon was
held. He was a native of Rockland and currently lived in Orange County.

He was one of the 16 military personnel killed when the Stewart Air National
Guard-based Marine Corps KC-130 aircraft crashed in Mississippi on July
10.

Sgt. Lennon was laid to rest following the church service in the Orange
County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen. People of all ages lined Craigsville
Road on the way to the cemetery where family paid their last respects.
