WAPPINGER – A man and woman were arrested for allegedly stealing over $9,000 worth of jewelry from a store in Wappinger in October 2016.
Rocco Cardascia, 29, of Poughkeepsie and Casey Owen, 29, of Mamaroneck were both charged with burglary, criminal mischief and grand larceny, all as felonies. An investigation revealed the two were responsible for the burglary.
Both were sent to the Dutchess County Jail, Bail was set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond for Cardascia and $1,500 cash or $3,000 bond for Owen.
State Police were assisted by East Fishkill and Poughkeepsie Town Police and Fishkill Village Police.
