State provides funding for public library construction projects

ALBANY – Thirty public libraries in the region have been awarded state funding through the education department to help pay for construction and renovation projects.
The grants range from as little as $2,500 to Morton Memorial Library and Community House in Rhinebeck to as much as $172,491 to Finkelstein Memorial Library in Spring Valley.
The funding will cover projects ranging from expansions to infrastructure upgrades, interior renovations and ADA compliance issues.
The projects include:
