Middletown man arrested in Kingston stabbing

KINGSTON – A Middletown man is in Kingston, charged with felony
assault in connection with a stabbing last October.

Kingston City Police investigated an altercation on October 7, 2016 on
North Front Street in which a 47-year-old man was stabbed in the back
several times.

The suspect, later identified as Mark Lancaster, 36, of Middletown, had
fled the scene. An arrest warrant was issued on a charge of armed assault.

Recently, Kingston detectives received a tip that Lancaster was in Middletown.

City police there were notified and took him into custody. He was later
brought back to Kingston to face the charge of first-degree assault.
