TOWN OF WOODBURY – Police
released the names of the two people killed in a one-car crash on Mineral
Springs Road in the Town of Woodbury last Friday.
Police said Victoria Rivera, 19, of Wappinger, was driving the car and Dajon Staples, 21, of New Windsor, was a front seat passenger when the car apparently ran off the road and struck a tree.
Speed may have been a factor in the accident, police said. The investigation is continuing.
