POUGHKEEPSIE – A City of Poughkeepsie man was arrested on Tuesday after police executed a search warrant at his 11 South Grand Avenue residence and seized illegal drugs.
Jason Brewster, 35, was charged with 18 counts after police seized over four ounces of crack cocaine and a loaded shotgun.  He was charged with 17 counts of drug possession and one count of criminal sale near school grounds, all as felonies. Additional charges may be pending, authorities said.
Participating in the investigation and raid were the state attorney general’s office, State Police Special Investigations Unit, and City of Poughkeepsie Police Emergency Services Unit.
