GOSHEN – The woman, who admitted that three years ago as a 17-year-old, she killed an 81-year-old Goshen woman in her home, was sentenced by Orange County Court Judge Nicholas DeRosa on Wednesday to 19 years to life in state prison.
Jennifer Molyneaux admitted earlier this year that in August 2014, she and her then-boyfriend, Devin Giordano, 22, of Goshen, had broken into the home of Helen Mills with the intent to get drug money.
Molyneaux was sentenced on a murder charge.
Goshen firefighters were summoned to her 84 Green Street, Village of Goshen home early that morning for a report of a fire, which was believed started by the couple to cover up the murder.
