TOWN OF MONTGOMERY – State Senator William Larkin delivered a check for $150,000 to the Town of Montgomery on Friday for significant renovations to the Town Hall Complex.
While the final cost has yet to be calculated, Town Supervisor Michael Hayes said this check should cover about one-third of the costs.
“When we renovated this building here we couldn’t do everything like you would do it new and some things had to be modified increasing the costs a little,” Hayes said, noting the cost can vary because of the way the building was constructed with concrete floors
The project will include repairing structural issues in the general office areas as well as court and police department.
