WHITE PLAINS – The official start of spring is next Monday, March
20 and Westchester was going to open its six county-owned golf courses
tomorrow (Wednesday).

Guess what? They won’t be. The blizzard has delayed the opening
and a new date will be announced. (Does that tee you off?)

The six golf courses are Mohansic in Yorktown Heights; Maple in White
Plains; Saxon Woods in Scarsdale; Hudson Hills in Ossining; and Dunwoodie
and Sprain Lake, in Yonkers.
