TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE –
A registered level-three sex offender was arrested by Poughkeepsie Town
Police for failure to report a change of address and failure to verify
his address every 90 days, as required by law.
An investigation by Poughkeepsie Town Police, the Dutchess County Office of Probation and Newburgh City Police revealed that Juan Rodriguez, 41, has been living at 45 Spackenkill Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie without reporting it. His last registered address was in the City of Newburgh.
Rodriguez was previously convicted for failing to register as a sex offender in 2002.
He was sent to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
