GOSHEN – Two Middletown men are facing drug charges after the vehicle in which they were riding was pulled over for a traffic violation on Route 17 in the Village of Goshen.
State Police from the Monroe barracks conducted the traffic stop on Monday, February 27 and a probable cause search of the vehicle turned up a large quantity of cocaine – some 309 grams.
Jordan Allen, 31, and Brive Crosske, 43, were each charged with felony drug possession, criminal tampering with evidence and resisting arrest.
Police said when Crosske got out of the vehicle he fought with officers and fled on foot. He was taken into custody in a parking lot a short distance away in the area of Matthew Street in the Village of Goshen.
Both men were sent to the Orange County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
