TOWN OF WALLKILL – A woman, who worked as an assistant bookkeeper for a business in the Town of Hamptonburgh has been arrested by State Police and charged with stealing from her employer.
Dawn Rosa, 42, of the Town of Wallkill was charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records, both as felonies. She allegedly stole over $3,000 in cash from the company and destroyed business documents to cover up her theft.
Rosa was sent to the Orange County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
