KINGSTON – Ulster County
Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 24-year-old inmate at the county
jail on a felony assault charge.
On Tuesday, February 7 at 7:45 p.m., detectives were notified that an
assault had taken place in the Kingston facility.
Investigation revealed that inmate Jose Colon struck another inmate several
times with a closed fist causing bruises, lacerations and abrasions.
Colon was arrested and scheduled to appear in Kingston City Court at
a larger date.
