Nunez
KINGSTON – Former dentist Gilberto Nunez, 49, with a practice in
Kingston, was sentenced in Ulster County Court Tuesday to 2 -1/3 to seven
years in state prison on seven felony convictions.
Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler had been appointed special
prosecutor in the case.
Nunez was sentenced for crimes he was previously convicted of including
perjury, offering a false instrument, making a false written statement,
grand larceny, insurance fraud and criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Nunez, of Poughkeepsie was convicted after a jury trial in Ulster County
Court. He was previously acquitted of murder in an earlier indictment.
