Indy, before going on the lam

AMAWALK – Indy the Wallaby, who has been missing from his Northern Westchester County family for three years, was spotted last weekend near the dam at Amawalk Reservoir.
Two New York City Department of Environmental Protection police officers spotted Indy while on patrol, according to the agency’s Facebook page.
Indy’s owners say he is very docile, friendly and answers to his name. He is neutered, house broken and enjoys eating toast and sweet potatoes.
Indy had scooted under an enclosure fence and ran away from home in 2014. His owners are thrilled that he is still alive and would love to have him back. If you spot him, call local police or animal control officers so that he can be returned home.
