Armed robbery in Monticello

MONTICELLO – Police were searching for a suspect who committed an
armed robbery at 123 East Broadway in Monticello shortly after 6 p.m.
on Wednesday.

Police said it was unclear if the robber was male or female; however,
the person had blonde hair.

The suspect was armed with a handgun and was reported to have fled in
a burgundy vehicle.
