TOWN OF MILAN – A Pennsylvania man was arrested on Friday while driving on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Milan and charged with possessing a loaded handgun without a New York State pistol license.
State Police pulled over a vehicle driven by Thomas Swartley of Green Lane, Pennsylvania for speeding and illegally towing a trailer on the Taconic. The gun was found after the traffic stop.
Swartley was released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
