Middletown police conduct two drug raids

MIDDLETOWN – The City of Middletown Police Department along with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Strategic Operations Group conducted two warrant searches for narcotics on Friday, January 13.
The first warrant search was conducted at 131 Linden Avenue. A total of 262 bags of heroin and 50 grams of marijuana were recovered.
Police charged Joemy Rivera, 22, of that address with two felony counts
of criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor criminal
possession of marijuana.
The second search warrant was executed at 152 Linden Avenue where 2.5 grams of crack-cocaine and 12 bags of heroin were recovered.
Police arrested Colin Morris, 21, of Gardner Avenue in Middletown and Brandy Patterson, 19, of 152 Linden on felony criminal possession of a controlled substance charges.
Also arrested during the warrant search was Steven Ogden, 35, of Slate Hill, who was wanted by Newburgh City Police on several bench warrants. He was turned over to Newburgh police.
