HIGHLAND – State Police charged a Plattekill man with rape for allegedly having a sexual relationship with an underage girl in the Town of Plattekill. The crimes took place in 2011.
Following an investigation, Edward Thomas, 25, was charged with the felonies of rape, criminal sexual act and promoting a sexual performance of a child and a misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond.
