RHINEBECK – State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested a Hyde Park man for criminal contempt and violation of parole.
Police were dispatched to a Rhinebeck home on December 26 for a reported order of protection violation. An investigation indicated Joseph Pasqualina repeatedly sent text messages to the protected party in violation of a no-contact provision of the order.
Police learned from the state Department of Parole and Community Supervision that he was released under the supervision of Parole on December 15 for a robbery conviction, in violation of terms of his parole.
Pasqualina was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
