MONTGOMERY – State Police
Thursday finally released the names of the two men killed when two trucks
crashed on Neelytown Road in the Town of Montgomery Wednesday morning.
Police said a box delivery truck, being driven by Brian Mettert, 26, of
Fallsburg, was driving west on Neelytown Road when he veered into the
opposite lane of traffic, striking a tractor-trailer driven by Everett
Biggs, 53, of Smithton, Missouri.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
Several police agencies assisted troopers in their investigation, which
remains open.
