NEW YORK – The Port Authority Board has tabled a proposed lease
that would allow Brooklyn Brewery to construct a 250,000-square foot brewing
facility on 18.9 acres at the Stewart Airport Industrial Park.

The action, in committee, came without discussion. Board Chairman John
Degnan said the proposal would be discussed at a future meeting.
The lease was to take effect on or about April 1, 2016 and include construction
of a new brewery, warehouse and visitor/retail center with an investment
by the company of at least $80 million.

If approved, the ground rental over a 60-year lease would amount to about
$30.1 million.
