FALLSBURG – Fallsburg Police are investigating at least three cases of vandalism of Jewish-owned stores in Woodbourne, Woodridge and South Fallsburg.
All three sustained broken out or damaged front glass windows, believed
to have been caused by a BB gun or some other weapon.
It is unknown of the incidents were timed to coincide with the beginning of the holiday of Sukkos.
This latest vandalism comes two weeks after the Temple Beth Shalom Cemetery in the Town of Warwick was vandalized by a person or persons who spray painted Nazi graffiti on the stone entrance. The synagogue is located nearby in the Village of Florida.
Police are actively investigating that incident as well.
