Parking attendant guilty of taking upskirt photos

WHITE PLAINS – A Jefferson Valley man was found guilty in Westchester County Court on Wednesday or taking videos of a high school student from underneath her skirt.
A jury convicted Franklin Figueroa, 27, of felony unlawful surveillance and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
On March 2, 2015 at about 2:50 p.m., Figueroa was at the Metro-North train station in Golden’s Bridge when a shuttle bus transporting students from the JFK Catholic High School arrived. They got out and began to climb a stairwell to the train platform in their school uniforms.
Figueroa was in the same stairwell and used a concealed video camera to record images from underneath a student’s skirt.
Another student saw what was happening and took photos of Figueroa and his camera with her cellphone and wrote down the license plate number of the vehicle to which he walked.
MTA Police were contacted and Figueroa was arrested with several recording devices seized. A warrant search revealed an earlier offense involving a student at the Golden’s Bridge train station from the spring 2014.
At the time of the incident, Figueroa was working for Laz Parking in
collects and enforcement, the company contacted to conduct enforcement
at the train station.His employment with the company ended in March of
this year.
When sentenced in January 2017, he faces up to four years in state prison.
