Earlier today we ran a story about Alison Carey, saying she was “back
on the job” one month after being arrested in Saugerties on a prostitution
charge.
We used as information an ad placed on a classified listings website,
which displayed a photo and a phone number as well as remarks appearing
to be solicitations.
We did not check the validity of the ad, who posted it and the phone number.
A friend of Ms. Carey has contacted us saying “our suspicion is
that someone copied and pasted the earlier ad.”
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
