Another shooting in Newburgh

NEWBURGH – A 34-year old Newburgh man is the latest victim of gun violence in the city. Police said the man, whose name they did not release, was shot once in the back. He was found around 2 Sunday morning in the area of 50 Front Street, the scene of several late night violent incidents in recent weeks.
He was transported to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital where his wound did not appear to be life threatening, police said.
