Woman killed in I-84 crash

Rt. 17 westbound shut down because of fatal crash

WURTSBORO – A crash between a car and tractor-trailer has claimed
one life, State Police said.

The mid-morning accident on Route 17 near exit 112 in Wurtsboro shut down
the highway westbound while a reconstruction unit investigated. The highway
has since reopened.

The identity of the female victim has not yet been made public as the
investigation continues.
