WURTSBORO – A Wurtsboro man was arrested for allegedly attempting to seize the sidearms of state troopers.
Keith McLoughlin, 34, was initially pulled over for a traffic infraction
and they learned he had a suspended license. At that point, he pushed
the trooper and fled on foot. After a short pursuit, he was caught. McLoughlin
resisted arrest and tried to grab the troopers’ guns.
He is now in the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
