WEST POINT – The Class of 2017 at West Point marked another special
event as they begin their final year at the US Military Academy with thering
ceremony.

Held on Friday, the cadets and family members gathered at Trophy Point
where the seniors received their rings and later attended a banquet and
cadet hop.
Joseph Parker of Arizona, a West Point graduate, had a Facebook message
for the fourth-year students – “Remember young cadets: the
weight of that ring is to remind you of the weight of your responsibilities
to our country… for the rest of your lives. It is an awesome responsibility
you have earned – and so few others merit. Grip hands! We of the
Long Gray Line await you at your graduation.”
Class members and family spent the weekend enjoying the beautiful weather
and touring the region.
