BEACON – A 25-year-old man was shot to death in Beacon Monday evening and city police continue to investigate the crime.
Just before 9:30 p.m., police received a call of several shots fired in the area of South Davies Terrace. Responding officers found the victim, who had been shot in the chest. He was transported to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh where he died.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending the ongoing investigation by the Beacon Detective Division.
