NEWBURGH – Police in Newburgh were looking for an SUV with three
men following the shooting of a man Tuesday afternoon.
The victim ran up to a school on Montgomery Street stating he had been
shot. Police found the man, who had been shot in the shoulder, leg and
buttocks. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment of what police said
did not appear to be life-threatening injuries.
The shooting occurred in the area of Grand and Catherine streets, police
said.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
