Rhinebeck woman charged with gas station robbery

RHINEBECK – A 37-year-old Rhinebeck woman has been arrested and
charged with armed robbery in connection with the hold up of the Citgo
gas station at 6365 Mill Street in the Village of Rhinebeck.

The robbery occurred at about 10 p.m. on Sunday.

Nicole Doble was arrested following a joint investigation by several police
agencies. She was charged with armed robbery because she threatened the
use of a gun, although she did not produce one.

Doble and an alleged accomplice were arrested in Hyde Park.

She was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash
bail.

William Geiger, 48, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor
drug possession. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Assisting Rhinebeck Police were State Police at Rhinebeck BCI, State Police
Troop K FIU and Hyde Park Police.
