PHILADELPHIA – The just concluded Democratic National Convention
held in Philadelphia was the 11th such convention attended by Orange County
Democratic insider and former party chairman former county Democratic
Party Chairman Jonathan Jacobson.
He had one word to sum up this year’s experience – unity.
“This was the most successful convention ever. It exceeded by expectations.
We came out of the convention unified with a positive, contrasting message
Hillary Clinton and how she will take the country forward,” Jacobson
said.
Jacobson also had high praise for Bernie Sanders for urging his supporters
to back nominee Hillary Clinton.
The campaign will be “long because we have a lot of work still to
do,” but he said he is confident Clinton will defeat Republican
Donald Trump to be elected the next president.
