Brooklyn man charged in Hurley theft of computer equipment

KINGSTON – State Police arrested a Brooklyn man, who is incarcerated at Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill, on burglary and grand larceny charges in connection with burglaries in the Town of Hurley. In one incident, $8,000 worth of computer equipment was stolen from a woman’s home.
Trevon Pinder, 26, of Brooklyn was developed as a suspect and later arrested on the related charges.  He was arrested in the state prison where he was incarcerated on an unrelated prior conviction.
His case was turned over to the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
