SPRING VALLEY – Police in Spring Valley are investigating two incidents of gunfire in which parked vehicles were struck by gunshots. Both happened in the same location.
No one was injured in either incident.
At about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 24, police responded to reports of gunshots in the area of the Meadow Lane Apartments at 130 West Eckerson Road where they found a vehicle with apparent gunshot damage to it.
On Monday morning, July 26 at about 12:20 a.m., police responded to the same apartments where they found three vehicles had been shot up.
There were no witnesses.
The Rockland County’s Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal investigation responded to both incidents to assist local police.
