HILLCREST – A 22-year-old woman sustained a single gunshot wound
to her leg while on Andover Road in Hillcrest early Sunday morning. The
victim was transported to Nyack Hospital for treatment and has been listed
in stable condition.
Ramapo Town Police said the shooter was reported to be a black man in
his early 20s, wearing a hoodie and black pants. He was also wearing earrings.
The suspect fled the area in a black sedan in an unknown direction.
Ramapo detectives are investigating along with the Rockland County Sheriff’s
BCI, sheriff’s Office, Spring Valley and State Police.
