TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – Two people are under arrest following an investigation into information about a large amount of property located in Hyde Park, which was stolen from a Town of Poughkeepsie business.
Police executed a search warrant at a Hyde Park residence and recovered a large amount of stolen property, cash, marijuana, heroin and a weapon.
Henry Masten, 47, of Hyde Park was charged by Poughkeepsie Town Police with felony grand larceny. Mark Laurange, Jr., 36, also of Hyde Park, was charged by Hyde Park Town Police with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of drugs, both as misdemeanors, and a violation of unlawful possession of marijuana.
The arrests were made on Friday, June 17. Town of Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie Police along with State Police CNET, Dutchess County Drug Task Force and District Attorney’s office were involved in the investigation.
