Charged with murder
NEW WINDSOR – The man who was fatally stabbed inside the Vails
Gate ShopRite store on Saturday morning has been identified as Michael
Kohus, 35,of Highland Falls.
Police said he was shopping in the store around 9:40 a.m. when another
man, Andrew Goodenough, 35, of New Windsor, stabbed him in the neck.
He was apprehended still in the store about an hour later and charged
with murder.
Police on Monday said they have yet to identify a motive for the killing.
