MID-HUDSON – The Ulster County Democratic Committee endorsed candidates for the fall elections.
In the 46th State Senate District race, the committee backed Sara Niccoli. She will face incumbent Republican George Amedore for the district that runs from Ulster County in the south to Montgomery County in the north.
The Democrats also endorsed Christopher Eachus for the 39th District Senate seat, held by Republican William Larkin. The district includes portions of Orange, Ulster and Rockland counties.
Attorney Sharon Graff was chosen to run for Surrogate Court judge in Ulster County.
The Orange County Democratic Committee endorsed Krystal Serrano of the Town of Monroe to run for the 98th State Assembly District seat. That post is currently held by Republican Karl Brabenec. The district includes the towns of Deerpark, Greenville, Minisink, Warwick, Monroe, Tuxedo and Ramapo.
