Over 100 officers and supporters ran in Dutchess on Thursday

HYDE PARK – The Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics ran through Dutchess County on Thursday. The run will lead into the State Summer Games held on June 10-12 at SUNY Brockport.
The run in Dutchess started at the FDR Library in Hyde Park down Route 9 to Marist College, across the Walkway Over the Hudson to Highland, to the Mid-Hudson Bridge ending up at Mahoney’s Irish Pub and Restaurant in Poughkeepsie.
Over 100 law enforcement, including family, friends, coaches, athletes and other supporters made Thursday’s Dutchess leg of the Torch Run. The run took two hours and covered over 12 miles.
