NEWBURGH – Police in Newburgh are investigating reports of a possible shooting in the city’s west end in the area of a bar at 778 Broadway. It happened about 2:00 this morning.
Police were called to reports of shots fired in that vicinity and emergency responder radio reports indicated that possibly two people were wounded and taken to the hospital.
Minutes later, Newburgh City Police were called to a large fight near the restaurants on Front Street with a report of an unresponsive man on the ground. Police and ambulance personnel responded to that scene.
