BEACON – A 21-year-old Beacon man was shot in the back as he walked with a friend on North Walnut Street Sunday evening after 8 p.m.
Police Chief Douglas Solomon said the victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound that did not appear life-threatening.
The assailant is unknown. Police are continuing to investigate.
